Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and OnBuy Nigeria Limited ("OnBuy", "we", "us"). If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

• You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Nigeria.
• You must provide accurate identification and verifiable income.
• You authorize OnBuy to perform credit and KYC checks.

Approved customers may finance an eligible smartphone over a fixed installment schedule. Each plan specifies the down payment, weekly or monthly installments, service fee, and total payable amount. Missing payments may incur late fees and trigger device locking until the account is brought current.

All devices financed through OnBuy are enrolled in our Mobile Device Management system. If you fall behind on payments, the device may be remotely restricted or locked. Full functionality is restored once outstanding amounts are paid.

Ownership of the device transfers to you only after the final installment is paid. Until then, OnBuy retains a security interest in the device.

• Tampering with the OnBuy MDM profile or attempting to bypass device locks.
• Reselling or transferring a financed device before full payment.
• Providing false KYC information or impersonating another person.
• Using the platform for unlawful or fraudulent activity.

Service fees are disclosed upfront before you accept a plan. Late payment fees, re-activation fees, and collection costs may apply if you default.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, default on payments, or engage in fraudulent activity. You remain liable for any outstanding balance after termination.

OnBuy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, except where prohibited by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.
